Welcome to the official website of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Training Center (SEAMEO RETRAC).

Since our establishment in 1996, SEAMEO RETRAC has been committed to enhancing the quality of educational leadership and management in Southeast Asian countries, particularly Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. As one of the 26 regional centers under the SEAMEO umbrella, SEAMEO RETRAC has been dedicated to excellence in education through our mission of enhancing educational leadership and management capacity for leaders, managers, and administrators, and professional development for teachers.

The history of SEAMEO RETRAC is rooted in the commitment to fostering innovative research and training programs that address the unique challenges faced by each Southeast Asian country. SEAMEO RETRAC conducts training on educational leadership and management, as well as teacher professional development, empowering educators to elevate the quality of education in their respective countries.

Beyond our core mission, SEAMEO RETRAC offers various educational programs such as English language training, 21st-century skills development, international internships and staff exchanges, and community engagement activities, all aimed at enriching the learning experiences of students and educators.

As we continue to grow and expand our reach, SEAMEO RETRAC seeks to connect and collaborate with organizations both within and outside the region, working together towards the common goal of improving the quality and accessibility of education for all.
