On December 15, 2010, SEAMEO RETRAC hosted a workshop on Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education. More than 45 administrators, specialists, and educators from higher education institutions in Ho Chi Minh City attended the session.
The presenter was Prof. Dr. William G. Tierney, Director, Center for Higher Education Policy Analysis, Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California, USA. At the workshop, participants were provided with the information, and updates in terms of quality assurance, accreditation, as well as future trends in higher education in the US. They also raised a wide range of questions and exchanged ideas regarding the aforementioned issues.
