The annual SEAMEO CDM took place from July 16 to 18, 2012 at the S31 Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand with the purpose of discussing proposals, plans and activities under the 2011-2020 SEAMEO Strategic Plan and the respective development plans of SEAMEO Centers.The meeting was attended by 80 participants including Center Directors and key staffs of SEAMEO Centers and the Secretariat, representatives of Associate and Affiliate Members, and invited partners such as: the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology, Japan; Asian Development Bank, UNESCO Bangkok, ASEAN-China Center, Beijing Normal University and University of Tsukuba, etc. Alongside with in-depth discussion and evaluation of key issues, a series of special meetings and collaborative and networking sessions were also carried out to hook up collaboration possibilities among and between SEAMEO Center Directors and SEAMEO Associate and Affiliate Members. The meeting came to the end with new projects firmed up and new areas of collaboration with potential partners defined.
