SEAMEO RETRAC held a mid-year excursion trip to Hong Kong and Shen Zhen for high-performing staff from June 20-24, 2011. On this occasion, SEAMEO RETRAC staff and their loved ones had a chance to come to Disneyland and Wax Museum and attend the cultural performances.
SEAMEO RETRAC in collaboration with IPC organized a study field trip for a group of 13 teachers from Le Quy Don High School, Ho Chi Minh City, to New Zealand from June 07-16, 2011. The trip was successful, especially helping teachers to gain first-hand experiences about the diverse cultures, international learning atmosphere at IPC, and expanding teacher and student exchange.

Phan Thi Ngoc Mai, oversea student counselor, was invited by International Pacific College (IPC) to pay her visit to its campus in New Zealand from May 02-12, 2011. This visit has strengthened the cooperation and partnership between the two institutions. IPC took excellent care of her stay including international airfare and accommodation.

On March 25, 2011, SEAMEO RETRAC, in co-operation with Longman Pearson Education, organized a training workshop on how to use SuperTots series effectively with the participation of 25 expatriate and Vietnamese instructors currently teaching at the Center. At the workshop, Ms. Ronnie Hill, a specialist from Longman Pearson, conducted classroom demonstrations to illustrate the teaching and learning activities using Supertots.
