SEAMEO RETRAC Labor Union organized a retreat for all staff in Da Nang from June 04 to 07, 2014. Celebrating International Children’s Day
On June 01, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC Labor Union celebrated International Children’s Day for children of the staff at the Center. On this special occasion, Dr. Ho Thanh My Phuong, the Center Director congratulated the children on their excellent achievements in the academic year 2013-2014. The Visit of the Delegation from Michigan State University College of Education
On May 27, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC had a chance to welcome the delegation of 10 doctoral students from Michigan State University College of Education, headed by Dr. Todd W. Drummond. The primary purpose of their visit was to understand about SEAMEO RETRAC operations and to discuss the possible collaborations in the future.
Sharing Session on “Effective Use of ICT in the Language Classroom”

On April 25, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC organized a training workshop on “Designing Interactive Teaching Materials with Captivate” at the Center for 30 faculty members from universities and colleges. Meeting on Provincial Training Programs
On April 24, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC organized a meeting on provincial training programs for teachers who are teaching English proficiency courses for school teachers of English in provinces. The meeting aimed at introducing an overview of the National Foreign Languages Project 2020 and reviewing the operation of the programs in different provinces. On April 17, 2014, SEAMEO RETRAC organized a sharing session on “‘Inspired to Write’ in the IELTS Preparation” for teachers of English teaching IELTS Writing at the Center. The session was shared by Ms. Nguyen Vo Kieu Trang and drew the participation of 20 teachers.
