On August 28, 2013, the ninth batch of students of the Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics Program, jointly provided by Curtin University and SEAMEO RETRAC, celebrated their graduation. Enrolled in this intake were 43 teachers of English from Vietnam and the USA. The program has so far recruited 466 candidates. The tenth and eleventh intakes are now in progress

SEAMEO RETRAC organized a training workshop on “Designing Interactive e-Materials” for teachers of English for universities/colleges on August 02, 2013. The objective of the training workshop was to infuse teachers with basic ICT skills for designing interactive lectures in their English teaching. Over 30 teachers of English participated in the training workshop.
After four weeks in operation, the Summer Fun 2013, co-organized by Queens College, City University of New York and SEAMEO RETRAC, concluded on July 26, 2013. A closing ceremony was organized for more than 200 students who attended the course from July 01 to 26, 2013 at the Center’s premises. This special four-week English course was designed for children from
