GRANT PROPOSAL WRITING

Description:

The training workshop is designed for teaching staff and administrators who are responsible for grant proposal development at universities and colleges. The course is intended to prepare the participants with basics and skills in developing a grant proposal. It also aims to help the participants understand the grant writing process, thereby, to prepare a well-developed grant proposal.


Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, it is expected that the participants will be able to:

  • Understand common key terms used in a funding application and/or a grant proposal while mastering key content areas of the process of grant writing;
  • Demonstrate their understanding and apply the knowledge provided by the course into practice by completing pieces of a grant proposal assigned by the course’s trainers;
  • Apply themselves in actual scenarios of grant proposal writing through the utilization of knowledge provided by the course and their own professional experience in the area of grant writing and/or funding application.

Target Participants:

Participants of the course include teaching staff, administrators and project officers who are responsible for coordinating project development programs or developing funding proposals at universities and colleges.


Facilitators:

Facilitating these training are SEAMEO RETRAC’s trainers who are experienced in grant proposal writing.


 Duration:

The workshop will include three days of training, with 6 (six) hours per training day.


Training Venue:

The training workshop is conducted at SEAMEO RETRAC’s premises – 35 Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
