Seminar: The Quality of Secondary Education in Viet Nam

SEAMEO RETRAC conducts, collaborates, and promotes research projects that aim to improve education around the region. In collaboration with Oxford University’s Department of International Development, SEAMEO RETRAC hosted a seminar on “The Quality of Secondary Education in Viet Nam” on 28 November, 2017.

The seminar was a sharing session on the results of Oxford University's Young Lives Project. Researchers, Dr. Padmini and Dr. Rolleston, shared their findings from a survey conducted with approximately 7,000 grade 10 students from 52 schools across Vietnam.

The attending administrators, researchers and teachers from universities, educational institutes and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City observed the project's findings and contributed to the dialogue on the quality of secondary education in Vietnam, research methods, and international collaboration.
